Define the method before looking at results

Write down the game format, starting shoe, visible information, count update, and decision rule before a test begins. Specify what qualifies as a count, which wager is being evaluated, how ties are handled, and when the method resets. These details prevent the rules from changing after a win or loss.

Distinguish an exact remaining-card inventory from a weighted running count. An exact inventory accounts for known cards by rank. A weighted count summarizes groups of cards under a defined tagging system. Neither term is meaningful without the rules that connect the count to a decision.

Use a repeatable study sequence

  1. Check the table. Record the game rules, deck or shoe information, payout, and any limits that affect the wager.
  2. Track only known information. Note which cards are visible and mark unknown or missed information as unknown.
  3. Apply one written rule. Do not switch counts, thresholds, or wager choices mid-shoe because of a result.
  4. Record every decision. Include the signal, action, outcome, tie treatment, and any execution mistake.
  5. Review the complete sample. Keep skipped hands and losing sessions. A short sample does not prove future performance.

Separate a strategy from a prediction

A counting strategy organizes information under its rules; it does not reveal a guaranteed next hand. Baccarat outcomes vary, and a count can be entered incorrectly or applied to a game for which it was not designed. Any assessment should include the wager’s cost, limits, and uncertainty.

A disciplined test asks whether the rules were followed and what the recorded sample shows. It does not convert a past sequence into certainty about what comes next. Set a spending and time limit if you choose to play, and do not chase losses.

How BFX training fits

BFX’s public articles explain counting concepts without publishing all of the proprietary Inner Circle Elite rules. The private training brings together card counting, Bead Road Math, and Game History in a structured study process. The Inner Circle Elite page explains current access options; no training or software guarantees wins or profit.
